okay, today's class is about combining you and your dragons abilities.

"This is going to be interesting."

Devin walks in, and Randrur's frozen head slithers into the room by him, about 5 feet wide. Their eyes focus on the teacher, Topaz and liquid gold.

oh, hello devin. first of all, find your own ability.

"My senses are my abilities."

Devin meant just plain senses, hearing, feeling, sight, taste ect. Also being able to talk.

okay, next find any SPECIAL ability you have, such as powers.

"Maybe the fact that me and Randrur are connected in everything but out bodies. I'm not particularly sure." Randrur's body slithers in like a snake next, and ends up taking up the back half of the classroom after curling up.

that should make it easier for you devin. now, do you have any powers that can be used as an offence or defence?

"Yeah. But I've gained them from Randrur."

Devin stares straight into empty space, not to far from Jonah. His eyes seem to brighten a bit more. He starts to talk to apparently empty space "How's it going?"

what did you say devin? who r u talking to?

Devin doesn't respond immediately, and the window frosts over. Outside of the classroom, parallel to his vision, Hiou becomes visible.

"Him."

huh!? you can see hiou!?hiou, are you letting him see you?

"no, he sensed me somehow."

"Yeah. It takes a while to parallel my mind to that point though." Devin says monotone.
"Randrur has my senses, and I have his; that's our best ability."

well, i guess you have an A for today.


mind talks to hiou: we have to be careful, if he senses our intentions, were done for.
hiou: i know. lets just try not to think about it, who knows, he could be listening to us right now. and i dont like his dragon either.

Devin and Randrur simultaneously blink at Jonah.

"Is that all?" Though Devin was talking about the class, the edge in his voice hinted at something else.

looks slowly at devin erm... ahem, yes.. yes that is all for today, class dismissed.


pulls collar of shirt out and gulps

"K." Devin hadn't even said Randrur's abilities yet, and instead of walking to the door, he walks straight towards the wall like a zombie, incredibly monotoned in everything. As he and Randrur hit the wall, he doesn't flinch. Instead, his body ripples, and so does Randrur, and then all that's visible is Randrur's snake-like tail leaving the room, to the outdoors.

close call. too bad we didnt have enough time to hear his dragons abilities, that would of helped.

"Too bad" Devin and Randrur agreed at the same time, before walking towards the mountain.
